SEOUL, July 1 (Yonhap) — KG Mobility Corp., a South Korean carmaker, said Tuesday it has launched a new car subscription service that includes insurance, tax and maintenance benefits.
The service, named KGM Mobiling, offers vehicles for a monthly fee with lower upfront costs and flexible contract terms, according to the company.
The program covers the carmaker’s sport utility vehicle (SUV) models, including the Torres, Torres Hybrid, Actyon and Actyon Hybrid.
Subscribers can switch vehicles every month and are allotted a mileage cap of 2,500 kilometers. Maintenance and roadside assistance are bundled into the monthly payment.
KGM Mobiling is offered in partnership with local smart car solutions provider Car123 Jasper.
“KGM Mobiling is not just a car rental service, but a mobility platform for customers,” a KG Mobility official said. “We plan to expand the offering by adding new car models and launching camping packages in the future.”
