TOKYO — SoftBank Group Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son has narrowed down his choice for a successor to a handful of people in the group but still has work he wants to do, Son told a shareholders meeting Friday.
A number of shareholders asked questions about Son’s successor. This person “will win out from the management of hundreds of group companies via competition,” Son said. “I think it will be someone who is doing cutting-edge work,” he said.
