Wind energy centre of Atma Nirbhar Bharat: India becomes 3rd largest maker of renewable energy; wind capacity hits 51.5 GW in a decade

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized wind energy’s crucial role in India’s clean energy goals and its ambition to become a global manufacturing hub at a Bengaluru stakeholder meeting. India has achieved 51.5 GW of wind capacity, aims for 100 GW by 2030, and is focused on integrating wind with solar and storage, reducing tariffs, and boosting manufacturing efficiency.
